Rep sample rods have been used by St. Croix sales representatives to allow both dealers and customers to get a hands on look at the rod before new models make their way to store shelves or into angler’s collections. These rods were not purchased and returned, have not been repaired or refurbished, and have never been fished. They have, however, been handled by dealers and customers at trade shows or sales meetings, used as props in videos, and been part of various other sales related scenarios.
